INCURSION SESSIONS FOR STUDENTS
2D Animation
Students will create their own 2D animated short story, advertisement or explanatory tale and learn how the animators do it. We'll start with a "story board" and simple forms of animation such as using "Power Point" for animation and progress onto a dedicated application such as "Tales Animator"

Preparation �Superior outcomes are obtained if teachers mentor and allow students time to decide on a theme / topic / write a story and sketch characters before the session

TEACHER'S PD SESSION
2D Animation
This session will explain the "nuts and bolts" of some basic computer animation techniques and provide hands-on experience in using them to create a simple animation. Teaching approaches and use in the classroom will also be covered
